I picked up these lovely white ceramic vessels at a thrift store... Don't you just love the little birdie vases and the tall twisted vase? Here's a unique tablescape idea for small weddings or stylish parties at home: gather up vessels and containers from thrift stores in all the same color (white or black are usually the easiest to find) and create different vignettes for each table. Keep the flower colors monotone or use only a few colors for full impact.
Above are photos from a wedding we recently DJ'd. The couple was very creative and smart. For floral decor they used white vases and bowls and tons of pink dahlias and roses from the local Flower Lady who put these lovely arrangements together. I love the effect of the shallow white bowl and how the dark pink just pops! The venue, Pravda Studios, set the perfect backdrop with white everywhere and loads of natural light!
These are lovely! Where did they find the ceramic vases? I'm thinking of doing the same with blood orange dahlias
