Peep this beautiful antique credenza that I saw at Cargo Inc on a recent trip to Portland! I just love how the hand painted tiles add a splash of vibrant color to the distressed dark brown wood.

Very pretty! The cabinet in the photo is actually an antique japanese cabinet. These were from the north of China during the Japanese occupation. The ceramic tiles though are new as most of the antique ones have been cracked beyond repair a long time ago. You can check our own Chinese and Japanese antique furniture blog if you like - we quite a lot of information there on Chinese antique furniture.

What a stunning piece. It truly is a wonderful find. I especially loved the painted tiles; they're like looking at cathedral stained glass windows.
