40 Weeks } A Lady in Waiting

Today was a gorgeous and sunny fall day... a day I had hoped would welcome Rafael into this world... This is me at 40 weeks. Labor hasn't started yet, so I am trying to be patient...

I was fortunate enough to take a Prenatal Belly Dance class at the Skin Deep Dance Studio in Beacon Hill last Monday...The funny thing is Evening Magazine was there to film a segment on it! The really funny thing is that it aired today, on 11/11 which is my due date! What a hoot! That's me in the purple, looking like a big grape beach ball, lol! It was a great workout and so much fun! Now, if the baby would get this show on the road there will be a lot more dancing!

38 Weeks

Hi everyone! Here's an update... I'm now 38 weeks! I can hardly believe it. My posts have been light because I have just been enjoying my pregnancy! This is a little photoshop'ed photo of me from a couple of days ago... the backdrop is fabric from Fabric and Art. I love how I look like a tomato! hee hee. Our master bedroom/nursery is done and I will post photos as soon as I can.

35 Weeks

Hello! I'm 35 weeks today! This is a photo at my midwives office. I love my midwives! They are awesome. So far so good. Rafael is head down and moving about. The only unpleasantness I'm experiencing is some swelling in my feet and carpal tunnel (numbness and tingling) in my hands which makes it hard to sleep. Other than that I feel great!

33 weeks and a Wedding overlooking the Gorge!

We DJ'd a wonderful wedding at the Cave B Winery in eastern Washington last weekend! The drive was long but the view of the Columbia River Gorge was incredible!

27 Weeks & My 34th Birthday!

Well, folks, I'm on my last trimester! Can you believe it? I have been really bad at taking photos...oh well! Here is a recent one from my birthday on August 18th. Rafael is moving alot and I love it! Getting bigger now! Gotta get ready for the baby shower and get our house in order, yikes, lol!
