This Easter was hectic but blessed. My dad gave me his living room furniture so we were moving things all week and my mom was recently diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma cancer and was in the hospital the week before Easter. Thankfully, she came home in time for Easter dinner and was able to enjoy our family party.
This year's tablescape was inspired by the Mad Hatter's Tea Party in the Alice In Wonderland 3D movie with Johnny Depp (love him!).
My husband's Aunt is a wonderful woman who loves all things charming, vintage, victorian, purple and sparkly! Incidentally, she use to own a gift shop in Alaska and has many lovely things leftover from her store. She let me borrow these beautiful items...
Faux Floral, Vintage Tea Pots and Tea Cups...
Feathery birds and vintage embroidery...
Stacked books from my husbands library...
Homemade sesame crusted cucumber tea sandwiches and store-bought mini quiche...
And a hoppin' baby White Rabbit!

Absolutely beautiful!Sorry to hear about your Mom, she will be in my prayers.I love your website!

Oh wow, I love how the spray of flowers from the big teapot looks like drops trickling to the little teapot. Looks amazing!
