I will definitely get inspired by Garden and Cosmos: The Royal Paintings of Jodhpur, an upcoming exhibit at the Seattle Asian Art Museum. Showing from January 29-April 26, 2009, this exhibit features Indian paintings that flourished in the royal courts of Rajasthan from
the 17th to the 19th century. Produced for the Rajasthan
nobles, these paintings have never been published; most have been seen
by just a few scholars since their creation. This is the first time
these paintings will be exhibited in the United States.
Come and check out the exhibit and these related events with me!
