For a short time I worked at Glenn Richards, a spectacular Asian antiques store in Seattle, where I learned so much about Asian design and form/function. I spent my time there in awe of the intelligently designed, fully functional everyday items such as rice baskets, benches, tansu chests, etc. The furniture restorers were all Vietnamese and everyday they would bring in their stainless steel stacked containers of food much like these pictured above. I always admired these containers, so I'm so thrilled to have found these colorful bento style lunch boxes. Check them out here!
